M365 Changelog: Dynamics 365 and Power Platform 2021 release wave 2 early access available now!
MC275154 – Microsoft is excited to announce that early access for the 2021 wave 2 release for Dynamics 365 and industry clouds and Microsoft Power Platform is available as of August 2, 2021. This is a compilation of new capabilities and features that will be released between October 2021 and March 2022.
How does this affect me?
Customers and partners can opt-in to early access and validate the latest features in a non-production environment. Starting August 9, 2021, customers that are a part of the Microsoft Government Cloud will have the option available in their administrative portal.
There are many features available for early access across Dynamics 365 applications and Power Platform. These features include user experience enhancements that will be automatically enabled for users in production environments starting October 1, 2021. Microsoft encourages application administrators to review these changes to understand the impact and determine if change management for new features is required.
What actions do I need to take?
You can take advantage of the early access period by trying out the latest updates in a non-production environment and get ready to roll out updates to your users with confidence. For additional information, please visit the Early Access FAQ page.
