M365 Changelog: Immersive Reader is now available in OneDrive and SharePoint for documents

This new feature release will allow users to launch Word Documents and text files into Immersive Reader from OneDrive.
This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 81954.
When this will happen
This feature will start rolling out in Mid-May and complete rollout by mid-August (previously late June).
How this will affect your organization
Users will now have the option to open Word documents and text files directly into Immersive Reader from OneDrive and SharePoint libraries.

You might want to notify your users about this new capability and update your training and documentation as appropriate.
