When using Microsoft 365 and Security groups, emails are sent to users in the following scenarios:
Microsoft is using a new service to send these emails, resulting in the look of the emails changing.
When this will happen:
Microsoft will begin rollout in late June and complete rollout by early July.
How this will affect your organization:
Anyone in your organization who uses groups will continue to receive emails during the scenarios listed above, however, these emails will have a new format and appearance.
What you need to do to prepare:
At this time, there is no action required. Microsoft recommends making end users aware of this email change if required.
