With markup (ink), users can draw on their photos to convey their messages and reveal the pattern and information perhaps unclear in an initial, surface look when self-teaching and even more important when sharing photos.

When this will happen:
Microsoft expects to roll this update out to Targeted Release customers in early December and expect the rollout to all customers to be completed in early January (previously late December).
How this will affect your organization:

Users will soon be able to draw on their photo or highlight a desired section of an image to convey their message. The color and thickness of the ink and highlighter pens can be changed. Also applied inks can erased individually or all the once.
What you need to do to prepare:
No specific actions are required by admins.
