MC289683 – Following the release of the modern experience to create & manage Syntex and SharePoint taxonomy terms that can be used across your organization last year, the experience to manage your site-level terms is also being updated.
This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 85638.
When this will happen:
Microsoft expects this rollout to begin in early October and expect the rollout to be fully completed by early November.
How this will affect your organization:
The experience to create & manage site-level taxonomy terms has been updated to match the experience available in the modern term store available in the SharePoint admin center. This experience improves the ability to navigate your taxonomies, create and edit terms and allow you to make the best of your investments in classifying & discovering your Syntex & SharePoint content.
This experience will be available by selecting “Term store management” under “Site Administration” in Site settings.
What you need to do to prepare:
You may want to update any internal documentation & user training related to site-level managed metadata terms with the upcoming changes.
