M365 Changelog: Network planner improvements

MC256834 -The new version of Network planner in the Teams Admin Center will use the latest bandwidth requirements of Teams clients to help you better estimate the bandwidth needs for your organization.

When this will happen

Microsoft will begin rolling this out in late May and expect to complete roll out by early June 2021.

How this will affect your organization

The bandwidth estimate calculations are being updated in Network Planner and were derived based on usage patterns from all Microsoft 365 organizations. This helps your organization plan it’s new deployments better by calculating bandwidth usage for your flexible work environments.

What you need to do to prepare

You might want to notify your users about this new capability and update your training and documentation as appropriate.Additional information
