MC313651 – In 2021, Viva Insights had rolled out curated set of guided meditations and focus music from Headspace in the Microsoft Viva Insights app in Teams for users who have set English as their language in Teams. With this planned app update, this experience will now be expanded to users in 4 additional languages (French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish).
This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 88518.
When this will happen:
Microsoft will begin rolling this out in mid-January and expect to complete rollout in late January.
How this will affect your organization:
The Viva Insights app in Teams will expand the curated set of guided meditations and focus music from Headspace to enable users to disconnect from work in the evening, relax their mind before a big meeting, or find focus before starting an important project to 4 additional languages (French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish).
Requirement: Only users with provisioned Exchange Online mailboxes can access features within the Viva Insights app in Teams
This is rolling out default on and, unless disabled by admin, the curated set of Headspace mindfulness content will be available to any user with the Viva Insights app installed. Note: if you had previously disabled Headspace for certain users, that will still be honored.
What you need to do to prepare
Review and assess the impact for your organization and you might want to notify your users about this new capability and update your training and documentation as appropriate.
Note: To disable (admin control) the Headspace feature for select users, use the PowerShell cmdlets VivaInsightsSettings with feature name as Headspace.
